Chișinău International Airport (KIV) is Moldova’s main airport, bringing in around 3 million yearly travellers. The airport is located 13 km southeast of the city centre and takes about 25 minutes to reach by car or a Chisinau airport taxi.
When leaving the airport, your taxi driver will Follow Strada Aeroportului to Bulevardul Dacia/R2. They will then follow Bulevardul Dacia to Strada Mitropolit Varlaam, turning left onto Bulevardul Dacia/R2 and continuing straight onto Strada Ciuflea. Your driver will turn left onto Bulevardul Ștefan cel Mare și Sfînt and right onto Strada Ismail/E584/M3/R3 before turning left again onto Strada Mitropolit Varlaam. They will then take the local city roads to reach your Chisinau hotel or apartment.
