Seville Airport (SQV) is a fairly large international airport that serves many airlines from Europe and beyond and is an important destination for tourism in southern Spain. The quickest and most direct route from Seville airport to the city centre will take approximately 15 minutes with a Seville airport taxi. The airport is linked to the city by one major highway, your driver will take this route down the A-4 highway once you have left the airport compound. As you near the city, your driver will take the 537 exit towards Av. De Kansas City which runs through the heart of Seville. From here, he will use the local roads to reach the exact location of your hotel.
Why choose a Seville Taxi?
Although taking a Seville taxi may not be the cheapest option, it’s by far the most comfortable and convenient. Not only will you save time getting from A to B, but you’ll also eliminate the need to navigate the public transportation system in a foreign language and wait around in queues in the hot Spanish sun. Instead, you can enjoy a scenic journey directly to your hotel in a private air-conditioned taxi.
Once you’re in the Seville, it’s extremely easy to find a taxi. All official Seville taxis are white with a yellow diagonal stripe across the back passenger door. If you’re looking to hail a cab from the street, all you need to do is look for the green light on top of the car (signalling that it’s free) and then stick out your arm. There are also many taxi ranks around Seville that are marked with a blue sign with a white ’T’. You can find Seville taxi ranks at most major tourist spots around the city, Santa Justa railway station and Plaza de Armas and Prado de San Sebastián bus stations.
