Directions for your taxi from Koh Samui Airport to Chaweng
Samui International Airport (USM) is a privately owned transport hub located on the island of Koh Samui. The airport is just 3 km away from the main city and largest resort centre on the island, Chaweng, so taking a Koh Samui Airport transfer shouldn’t take longer than 10 minutes to reach your hotel.
As you begin your transfer from Koh Samui Airport, your driver will exit the airport and head south, before taking a right-hand turn after around 65 m. They will then take a right and a left-hand turn towards Chumchon Chaweng Yai Soi 4. After around 140 m, your driver will take a left onto Chumchon Chaweng Yai Soi 4. You will then see the On The Beach shop on your right-hand side, and your driver will take a sharp right and then left. From there, your driver will use local roads to reach your final destination.

Koh Samui taxi prices from Samui Airport
Airport taxi prices depend on whether you opt for a private transfer or taxi. Local metered taxis aren’t allowed to serve the airport, so aside from private transfer, your only other option is to prepay for your taxi at the SmackOne taxi counter (the official taxi company at Samui Airport). You can then hand your ticket to a taxi driver and be on your way.
*It’s important to note that the airport’s official taxi services don’t have the best reputation. Booking a private transfer in advance will secure a more reliable service.
