Located in the Mārupe Municipality west of Riga, Riga International Airport (RIX) is the largest airport in the Baltic states, serving 76 destinations and just under 8 million passengers yearly.
The airport is a short 10 km from Riga city centre, which takes around 20 minutes to reach, depending on traffic conditions. When leaving RIX, your Riga airport taxi driver will head northwest toward Muzeju iela before turning left onto Lielirbes iela. From here, your driver will continue onto Kalnciema iela before turning right on Slokas iela. Your driver will then continue onto 11. Novembra Krastmala before turning onto Bīskapa gāte and using the local roads to reach your Riga hotel.
