Directions for your airport transfer to Ho Chi Minh City
Ho Chi Minh City, commonly known as Saigon, is the most populous city in Vietnam and is situated in the Southeast region of Vietnam, 8 km away from the airport. Tan Son Nhat International Airport is the busiest airport in Vietnam with over 38 million passengers a year. An airport transfer to Ho Chi Minh City takes 15-30 minutes by car, depending on traffic.
As you set off in your taxi from Ho Chi Minh Airport, your Welcome driver will head northeast on Truong Son and take Nguyen Van Troi to Nam Ky Khoi Nghia in Vo Thi Sau. Your driver will then turn left onto Hoàng Van Thu and then take a slight right after Cafe 245. They will continue straight on Cau Cong Ly/Nguyen Van Troi. Then, your driver will continue onto Nam Ky Khoi Nghia and then Ly Tu Trong before reaching District 1, Saigon’s city centre. From there, your driver will use local roads to get you to your exact location.

Different taxi companies operate at SGN Airport; however, they all use a taximeter to calculate fares. The average price for a taxi from Ho Chi Minh Airport to the city (District 1) is around €6.55 – €7.70 (VND 170,000–VND 200,000).
