The local Cusco airport taxi drivers don’t use taximeters to calculate their fares. Instead, your driver will decide on the cost of your journey once you tell them your destination. The average cost for a Cusco airport shuttle ride into the city centre of Cusco is around €3 (PEN 12), however, it’s very common for drivers to start at a higher price and for you to haggle with them.
