Murtala Muhammed International Airport (LOS), more commonly known as Lagos Airport, is the major airport serving the entire state of Lagos. As it was built during World War II, the airport is named after the military leader of that time, Murtala Muhammed. The airport is located around 21 km from the city centre, so taking a Lagos airport shuttle will take around 40 minutes to reach your hotel.
Your driver will begin by exiting the airport towards Int’l Airport Rd, then continuing on to Ikeja Intl Airport road. They will then turn left after passing Polaris Bank Ltd, to stay on Airport Road. You will then take the ramp onto Apapa Oworonshoki Expressway, which you will follow for 4.4 km before taking the exit onto the Gbagada Expressway. After around 2.3 km, you will take a right onto Idowu Olaitan Street, a left onto Lanre Awolokun Street and then a right onto Baptist Church Street. After around 350 m, this street becomes Buraimoh Alli Street, where you will take a right onto Akintunde Street, followed by a left onto Fetuga Street and finally a left onto Igi Olugbin Street. You will then pass by a gas station, where your driver will proceed to head right onto Bariga Road, left onto Fola Agoro Street and then right onto Eletu Odibo Street. You will follow Eletu Odibo Street for just 130 m, before taking another left onto Kayode Street and finally a right onto Odenike Street, which is in the heart of Lagos city.
