Wellington airport is located 9 km southeast of the central business district and city centre. A Wellington airport shuttle transfer into the city will therefore take about 20-25 mins, depending on the traffic and time of day. As your transfer begins, you will take Stewart Duff Drive out of the airport and turn right onto Great Harbour Way for 1.5 km. At the roundabout, you will then take the second exit onto Tirangi Road and at the next roundabout, the first exit to Coutts Street and then right onto Te Whiti Street. You will then take a left when you meet Rongotai Road, which you will follow onto Kilbirnie Crescent until you get to SH1, which you will then follow for the next 3.4 km to Willis Street. Your driver will, lastly, follow Willis Street for another 1.3 km and then take a left onto Lambton Quay, which will lead you to the city centre.
