Shah Amanat International Airport, known as Chittagong Airport (CGP), is the second-largest and busiest airport in Bangladesh. Primarily serving the port city of Chittagong, it is located 20 km from the city centre and welcomes a significant 1.5 million passengers per year.
To begin your 45-minute journey downtown, your driver will head out of the airport, exit onto Airport Road and continue until they reach M. A Aziz Road where they will turn right. They will continue for around 5 km and then take the second exit at the roundabout onto Mooring Road. At the next roundabout, they will take the 1st exit onto Sheikh Mujib Road, continuing until it becomes CDA Avenue. After travelling for 1 km more, they will turn right onto Reboti Mohat Lane and shortly after, left onto Chatteshwari Road. From here, they will use the local city streets until they drop you off safely at your Chittagong hotel or apartment.
