Foz do Iguaçu International Airport (IGU), also known as Cataratas International Airport, is the main airport serving the city of Foz do Iguaçu and the surrounding areas in Brazil. The airport is actually named after the beautiful Iguazu Falls, which provides short flights to the Iguaçu National Park where the waterfall can be explored. IGU Airport is located around 17 km from the city, so taking a Foz do Iguaçu Airport shuttle shouldn’t take longer than 30 minutes.
After leaving the airport, your driver will head northwest until they reach a roundabout, where they will take the 1st exit onto R. Jardim Alegre. At the next roundabout, your driver will take the 1st exit onto BR-469. You will then continue straight onto Av. das Cataratas for another 1.8 km. From here, your driver will turn right onto Av. Paraná, where you will pass by Dr Hérnia – Foz on the right-hand side. Next, you will turn left onto Av. Duque de Caxias, followed by a right onto Av. Juscelino Kubitscheck. At the final roundabout, you will take the 4th exit to stay on Av. Juscelino Kubitscheck, which will lead you into the centre of Foz do Iguaçu.
