Directions for your Oakland Airport Shuttle

Oakland International Airport (OAK), is located in the San Francisco Bay Area of California. This airport mainly serves domestic flights all over the United States but also offers international flights to and from destinations such as Mexico and the Azores. The airport is around 15 km from the city centre, so taking an Oakland airport taxi shouldn’t take longer than 20 minutes.

Once you’re safely in the vehicle, your driver will exit the airport terminal and will head south on Cowan Pkwy toward John Glenn Dr. You will then turn left onto the ramp for Interstate 880/Downtown Oakland, and merge onto Bessie Coleman Dr. After around 1 km, you will keep left to continue on 98th Ave, before taking the ramp towards Downtown Oakland and merging onto the I-880 North. You will follow this major road for around 11 km, before keeping right at the next fork, to continue on I-980 East. Here, your driver will begin following the signs for Walnut Creek, which will lead them to exit 1A for 11th St toward 14th St. Taking this exit, you will merge onto Castro St and follow it into the heart of downtown Oakland.
