The airport is located around 20 km from the city centre, so taking a Puerto Playa Airport shuttle shouldn’t take longer than 35 minutes to reach your hotel.
To begin your Puerto Plata Airport transfer, your driver will head south past the Puerto Plata Airport Transfers building, and then take a right. Once you see the Ferretería L&R on your left, your driver will take a left turn and then a right at the Taller de Herrería Victor. You will follow this road for 2.4 km, before turning right onto a roundabout, where you will take the 1st exit onto Calle Principal. At Casa de la Cultura Montellano, you will take a left, then almost immediately take another left. At the De Chino SuperFría, you will take a right and a left to continue onto Av. Circunvalación Sur. You will then reach a roundabout, where you will take the 2nd exit onto Av. Circunvalación Sur. After around 500 meters, your driver will take a left onto C. J.A. Puig, then a right onto Vía de Circunvalación. Finally, you will turn left onto C. 4 de los Reyes and then pass by the Black’s Stationary, where you will take a right. This road will then lead you into the heart of Puerto Plata city centre.
