All Ibiza taxi prices have seen set and are regulated by the Balearic Government. Ibiza taxi drivers must use a taximeter to calculate the fare of your journey based on the distance travelled. Bear in mind that the fee for your taxi will increase during the nighttime hours of 21:00 to 07:00 and on weekends after 13:00.

Unlike most other Spanish cities, it can be quite difficult to hail a taxi in Ibiza from the street. Although there are occasions where you will see a taxi with a green light on top, signifying that it’s empty and ready to take a customer, but they rarely stop in the street. The best way to get an Ibiza taxi is to walk to a taxi rank or call a radio taxi company.
You can find taxi ranks all over Ibiza Town and throughout the smaller towns on the island. They are outside the airport, port, bus stations, major hotels and the most popular beaches and tourist spots. Your hotel concierge and most restaurants can also call you a taxi upon request.

Taxis in Ibiza are all heavily regulated and monitored by the Balearic Government, so they are very safe and reliable.
