Grabbing a taxi from the street in Valencia couldn’t be easier. Keep your eye out for a white vehicle with the Valencia logo and an illuminated ‘TAXI’ sign on the roof. If the taxi is available, the sign will light up green, if it’s already carrying passengers, the sign will light up orange or red. To hail a taxi, simply wave your arm when you see one available.
If you prefer to walk to an official taxi rank, you’ll find them outside the airport, train and bus stations and popular tourist attractions such as Plaça de la Reina, Valencia Cathedral, Plaça de Cánovas del Castillo, Avenida de França and Carrer de Bailèn. Just walk up to the first taxi in line.
